
If you’re the parent of a girl, or an aunt, grandparent or godmother, we think that this news might interest you.
You’ve likely heard the acronym, “STEM,” which stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. What you might not realize is that women are still consistently underrepresented in all four of these areas of the marketplace.
Nonprofits like, “Girls Who Code,” in Palo Alto, California, are working hard to change that. In fact, the organization recently partnered with Ford to bring some of these club members into the Ford laboratory, providing both mentorship and hands on instruction.
